We came up with a plan. A dream. And made it a reality.
While working on a business plan to open a boutique, I happened to see two cute girls (who I now know as Stacey & Jeanine of Le Fashion Truck in Los Angeles) on a morning news show with their mobile boutique and I started thinking….maybe that’s what I should do. Then I saw that same truck in a magazine not even a week later and I took it as a sign. I was going to open the first fashion truck in St. Louis.
After a year of planning and rehabbing, Rack + Clutch opened it’s doors in April of 2013 to crowd of eager craft beer enthusiasts and local fashionistas at a food truck festival on the parking lot of 4 Hands Brewery and we’ve been truckin’ it on the streets ever since!
We didn’t know it at the time, but the relationships we would build with other local businesses in the area would become our support system and very crucial to our success. Our mission is to bring you the most current, reasonably priced clothing and accessories in a convenient way while encouraging growth and building a sense of community in the neighborhoods we live in.
We are currently partnered with The Covering House and donate a portion of our sales each month to help rescue girls from sex trafficking here in St. Louis so when you shop with us, you’re helping too! That’s something to feel great about!
Thank you for your continued support. We hope you’ll join us on our journey to create positive change in our city and ourselves!
